ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA:
Yoga is a philosophy of life, which also has the potential to create a
vibrantly healthy body and mind - guruji pattabhi jois.
Ashtanga Yoga, practiced in its correct sequential order, gradually leads
the practitioner to rediscovering his or her fullest potential on all
levels of human consciousness—physical, psychological, and spiritual.
The aim of our centre is to give you the knowledge and confidence to practise/teach
Yoga in the Ashtanga Vinyasa style. The theoretical section of the course
will include Anatomy and Physiology as relevant to an understanding of
Yoga, Yogic Subtle Physiology (Svarodaya), and Philosophy. The topics
have been chosen to meet the increasing demands and interests of the ever
growing number of yoga practitioners

- Yoga philosophy (Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali Yogasutra)
- Anatomy and physiology of Yoga including subtle anatomy
- Techniques in Ashtanga practice
- Pranayamas, Bandhas and Mudras
- In depth study of alignment in asanas
- Creating sequences - Vinyasa Krama
- Teaching variations to suit individual needs
- Stress Management through Yoga Nidra
- Chanting as the gateway to inner awareness..
