Guru: Meghala Bhat, who began her Bharatanatyam career at the tender age of 8, has been practicing/ performing and teaching for the last 10 years. Her artistic talent has won her many prizes and accolades.

A top disciple of Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy at the Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre in Mysore [India] where she worked as a senior lecturer.

Meghala has given several solo performances and has also participated in the leading roles in all the group ballet productions of Vasundhara Performing Arts Centre throughout India. Her lucid expressions and talent have earned her acclaim from several critics all around India.Meghala has performed and conducted seminars/ symposiums all over India and Melbourne.

She is currently an executive member of FIMDV [Federation of Indian Music and Dance-Victoria] and has been appointed as an advisor for the dance division.

Meghala is a Yoga professional in her own right - having trained under the pioneer late Guruji Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute, Meghala has been conducting yoga classes at VPAC and Melbourne for the past four years.

Meghala has currently been teaching at the art of vinyasa institute in melbourne for the past 4 years and has performed at various venues and cultural festivals around Victoria.
